Mittlerweile ist es schon 01:00 Uhr und ich sitze satt und zufrieden in meinem Hotelzimmer in Ingolstadt. Bevor ich mich jetzt gemütlich ins Bett legen kann schildere ich noch den erfolgreichen und spannenden Wettkampf.
Das Wetter hatte diesmal nichts gegen mich und mit der Anlage hatte ich mich schon am Tag zuvor angefreundet. Beste Vorraussetzungen also um hoch zu springen! Die Anfangshöhe von 5,10m und die nächste Höhe von 5,30m waren kein Problem, doch nachdem ich den zweiten Versuch über 5,40m gerissen hatte wurde ich nervös. Mit einem härteren Stab quälte ich mich dann auch über diese Höhe und konnte nun die Norm für die U23-EM (5,50m) angreifen. Gleich im ersten Versuch blieb die Latte liegen und ich konnte sehr erleichtert die 5,60m angehen. Zwei gute Versuche waren noch dabei, aber es hat leider nicht mehr gereicht.
Jetzt werde ich mich aber auch endlich ins Bett legen, damit ich für die Heimfahrt morgen wieder fit bin.
